Digital Food Thermometer

Check food temperatures during barbecue cooking and baking with the Clevinger Digital Food Thermometer. Its fold-out stainless-steel probe and large LCD display let you take a reading from inside the food, rather than judge by its appearance alone.

Select Celsius or Fahrenheit to match your recipe, insert the probe into the thickest part of the food and wait 3–5 seconds for a reading. Press HOLD to keep the measurement on the screen while you move the thermometer to a more convenient viewing position.

The ABS body and folding probe form a compact unit measuring 16 × 4.5 × 2 cm when folded. A printed temperature guide sits above the display, while the built-in bottle opener adds a useful extra for outdoor meals and barbecue gatherings.

Power the thermometer with one AAA battery, not included. Automatic shut-off after five minutes of inactivity helps conserve battery power. Use it for handheld temperature checks only, then allow the probe to cool before cleaning and folding it away. Do not immerse the thermometer in water or place it in a dishwasher.
